CatenaCare history
The inspiration for CatenaCare
CatenaCare was inspired by the success of two care provider groups in Ohio. These groups implemented a care model framework that has since become the blueprint for the CatenaCare medical services organization. After it was discovered how efficiently care teams were able to operate with administrative coordination and support, CatenaCare was formed. Our goal is to provide a repeatable model of managed services to long-term care providers across the United States to allow them to focus more time on patient care and less time running their practices.
The CatenaCare journey
2009: Central Ohio Geriatrics (COG) was formed, bringing long-term care to seniors in Columbus and surrounding communities.
2012: Pinnacle Care Providers was founded, following a care team model to improve long-term care patient satisfaction and outcomes.
2024: COG and Pinnacle joined forces to coordinate the way long-term care is delivered throughout Northeast and Central Ohio.
2024: The success of COG and Pinnacle inspired CatenaCare, extending a repeatable care model and managed service offering across the country.
2024: The CatenaCare brand was developed with a name, logo and website to make the MSO accessible to providers nationwide.
